Meeting of the RU and Terminal Advisory Groups of RFC Rhine-Danube – 28 May 2026 in Bonn, Germany

The Management Board of RFC Rhine-Danube successfully hosted its latest Railway Undertaking Advisory Group (RAG) meeting on 28 May 2026. The event took place at the German Ministry of Transport in Bonn, Germany.

The meeting brought together key sector stakeholders to discuss strategic priorities and performance along the corridor. Key professional topics included tracking operational KPIs such as border dwell times and the realization of 740m train length capabilities, port strategies, and addressing the infrastructure financing gap alongside the upcoming EU Capacity Regulation.

We had the honor of having the Advisor of the Rhine Danube European Transport Corridor (ETC) Coordinator at the event, who actively contributed to the discussions, reinforcing the strong governance cooperation between the RFC and the ETC Coordinator. Looking ahead, participants also reviewed important upcoming 2026 milestones, including the Connecting Europe Days in Brussels and the new challenges deriving from the new EU legislative environmnet.
